This Privacy Policy describes how Oscar Dog, Inc., a California corporation ("Oscar Dog", "we", "us", "our"), handles information in connection with your use of the Somnideck mobile application ("the App").

The short version: Somnideck runs entirely on your device. Oscar Dog does not operate any servers that receive your data. Oscar Dog does not collect, store, transmit, or share information about you. The App does not automatically send anything anywhere. The longer version below explains this in more detail.

1. Information Oscar Dog Does Not Collect

Oscar Dog does not collect any of the following:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number, address)

• Account credentials — Somnideck has no user accounts

• Usage analytics, telemetry, or behavioral data

• Crash reports or diagnostic information sent to Oscar Dog

• Device identifiers (IDFA, advertising IDs, device fingerprints)

• Location data

• Contacts, calendars, photos, or other system-level data

• Audio recordings you create with the App

• Audio files you import into the App

The App does not contain any analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking technology. The App does not automatically communicate with any servers operated by Oscar Dog or by any third party for the purpose of sending information about you or your use of the App.

2. Information That Stays on Your Device

To function, the App stores certain information locally on your device. This information is never automatically transmitted to Oscar Dog or to anyone else — the App does not have the ability to upload, sync, back up, or otherwise send this information off your device on its own.

This includes:

• Audio recordings you make using the App

• Audio files you import into the App

• Your saved loops, settings, and preferences

• Effect parameters (pitch, speed, reverb, denoise, tape, EQ) you apply to your recordings

• Subscription receipts and entitlement state (used by the App to determine which features to unlock; see Section 4)

This data is stored in the App's private storage on your device. It is deleted automatically when you uninstall the App. You can also delete individual recordings within the App at any time.

The only way information stored locally by the App can leave your device is if you choose to actively share it — for example, by using the App's export functionality to send a loop to another app (Messages, Mail, Files, etc.) via the iOS share sheet. Any such sharing is initiated by you, not by the App. Once content leaves the App, it is governed by the terms and privacy policies of the receiving app or service, not by Oscar Dog.

3. Permissions the App Requests

The App may request the following iOS permissions. Each is used strictly for the on-device functionality described.

• Microphone access — to record audio in Loop Mode. Recordings are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted by the App.

The App does not request access to your photos, contacts, calendar, location, motion, notifications, or any other system-level data.

If you use the App's Loop Mode export functionality, the iOS share sheet may present options to share your loop with other apps (Messages, Mail, GarageBand, Files, etc.). Anything that happens after content leaves Somnideck through your share action is governed by those other apps and services, not by Oscar Dog.

4. Subscription, Purchase, and Payment Information

If you subscribe to Studio or purchase the one-time Lifetime unlock, the transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store. Oscar Dog does not access, store, or process your payment information at any time.

Apple provides the App with a receipt that confirms your subscription status or Lifetime purchase. The App stores this receipt locally on your device to determine whether to unlock Studio features. Oscar Dog does not see this receipt, transmit it, or associate it with any identity.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. Oscar Dog does not knowingly collect any information from children — because Oscar Dog does not collect information from anyone. If you are a parent or guardian and have questions about the App's suitability for a child, please contact Oscar Dog at the address in Section 9.

6. International Users

The App operates entirely on your device. Because Oscar Dog does not collect or transmit personal data, no cross-border data transfers occur as a result of your use of the App.

Users in jurisdictions with specific data protection rights — including the European Economic Area under the GDPR, the United Kingdom under the UK GDPR, and California under the CCPA/CPRA — retain those rights. However, because Oscar Dog holds no personal data about you, requests for access, deletion, correction, or portability cannot be fulfilled by Oscar Dog — there is nothing on Oscar Dog's side to access, delete, correct, or port. You can exercise these rights with respect to your own device's data by deleting individual recordings within the App or by uninstalling the App entirely.

7. Third-Party Services

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect information about your download and use of the App separately from Oscar Dog; that collection is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy (apple.com/legal/privacy), not by this Policy.

Apple may also provide Oscar Dog with aggregated, anonymized statistics about the App through App Store Connect — such as download counts, aggregate crash data, and aggregate usage metrics. This information is compiled by Apple, is not linked to your identity, and cannot be used by Oscar Dog to identify you.

The App does not include or integrate with any other third-party services, SDKs, or analytics tools.

8. Changes to This Policy

Oscar Dog may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When that happens, the "Last updated" date at the top of this document will be updated. Because Oscar Dog does not collect contact information, you cannot be notified of changes directly; please review this Policy periodically. The version of this Policy linked from the current version of the App is the version that applies to your current use.

If the App ever begins to collect data in any new way, Oscar Dog will obtain appropriate consent and update this Policy before that collection begins.
